Katalin Karikó is a Nobel Prize-winning Hungarian-American research biologist, research professor at the University of Szeged, and biochemist who pioneered the way for the development of synthetic mRNA-based vaccines.
The ever-growing collection includes family photographs, personal objects and documents, as well as press photos, which provide a remarkable insight into the life of the now world-renowned Katalin Karikó, her early influences, the inspiration she received from her alma mater and the early stages of her research.
