SZTE Klebelsberg Library and József Attila Study and Information Centre commemorates the opening of the building with a joint exhibition

on its 15^th anniversary.

15 years ago, on 9th December 2004, the Centre opened its doors, and in the following years, it has become the home of the most important events and the most visited venue of The University of Szeged. Numerous awards prove that this architecturally magnificent work did not go unnoticed in Europe or even worldwide. Furthermore, nowadays it has obviously become the central unit, or if you like, the heart of our university’s life. The 4000-5000 daily visitors, the “bustling city” until 10 pm on weekdays all indicate that the students of Szeged truly think of the building as their second home and count on the work and help of the librarians. In honor of this trust and to celebrate ourselves a little, we have gathered our memories, keeping in mind the building’s completion and the immense effort that was required to relocate the library, as well as the major events important to us.
